Chili Cook-Off Benefit for Kid Camp Program

The Fun Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, October 15th is an annual fundraiser that helps send local boys and girls to summer camp through the Send a Kid to Camp Program. Udall Law Firm, LLP is one of 16 sponsors for this years event that is being held at Jonathan’s Cork, 6320 E. Tanque Verde Road.

Local Tucson restaurants cook-up their best chili recipes for the public to sample and judge from noon – 3pm. A $10 donation is accepted at the door.

Participating restaurants including the defending champion Brushfire BBQ Co., along with Bushi Traditional Japanese and Asian Cuisine, Chad’s Steakhouse & Saloon, Eclectic Cafe, Frankie’s South Philly Cheesesteaks, Jonathan’s Cork, Pastiche Modern Eatery, Ric’s Cafe and Risky Business.

The Send a Kid to Camp program raises money for economically disadvantaged kids can go to the YMCA, Boy Scout and Girl Scout camps and the Camp Courage burn camp. To make a donation or for more information about this program go to azsendakidtocamp.org.
