Thom K. Cope has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors for First Tee of Tucson, an organization promoting education and strong values for youth through golf.
Established in 2006, First Tee of Tucson impacts the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. Funded and operated by The Conquistadores, First Tee of Tucson is designed to identify children not being served by existing programs, particularly at-risk young people. They provide a golf component to programs for Boys & Girls Clubs, Special Olympics, Tucson and Pima County Parks & Recreate, El Rio Neighborhood Center, and Tucson Unified School District.
